Phuket will host the Amazing Beach Life Festival 2024 on August 2-4 at Patong with the theme “Neon Waves.” The ongoing festival is intended to boost tourism in Thailand during the “Green Season,” when tourist numbers tend to slow down due to weather conditions.
The Amazing Beach Life Festival aims to stimulate local and foreign travel during the off-peak season, especially for travelers with high purchasing power and interests in beach activities. The emphasis on promoting tourism during the “Green Season” is meant to revitalize local communities and businesses as well as build interest for attractions at the event venues in Thailand.

The venues chosen for the 2024 festival were selected for their popularity as beach resort destinations. The 2024 festival had its kickoff event at Laem Charoen in Rayong titled “Tropical Beach” from July 12-14, and is scheduled to continue with the “Beach Rhythms” event at Khao Lak in Phang Nga on July 26-28. The final event of the festival, called “Art Paradise,” will be held at Chalatat Beach in Songkhla on August 9-11.
The theme of the Amazing Beach Life Festival’s event in Phuket is called “Neon Waves” and is meant to highlight the nightlife in the beach town of Patong, complete with neon-colored lights reflected in the waters of the beach. The festival event in Phuket will combine the best of art, sports and music with installations, demonstrations, and scheduled performances from top musicians in Thailand.
Other scheduled activities during the events of the Amazing Beach Life Festival 2024 include local art and craft fairs, food trucks, beach bars, fashion stalls, and DIY workshops for creating beach paintings and keepsakes.

The Amazing Beach Life Festival 2024 is also part of the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s mission to promote sustainable and responsible tourism in Phuket, as well as the rest of Thailand. Decorations used for the festival are designed to be eco-friendly, and the Thailand Tourism Awards will also have booths to present award-winning efforts by local businesses in promoting sustainability.
